70°C is the law. **Two packs said 75°C.**. Korea's safety standard caps a hot pack at 70°C. In 2014 the Korea Consumer Agency found two of 30 packs **labelled** 75°C. Look for the Korean label and the **KC mark**.

Lower heat, **same burn.**. Low-temperature burns (저온화상) happen at **40–70°C** when a pack stays on one spot. Korea's trap: a stick-on pack on your back while you sleep on a **heated ondol floor**.

Four for ₩1,000. **On socks, not skin.**. Foot packs stick to the outside of your socks and print five hours of heat. Daiso sold out of them online by late September.

The coolest pack **lasts the longest.**. Feet get the lowest numbers because shoes trap heat. Buy them by shoe size: Daiso sells 230–250 mm and 260–280 mm.
