When we get something wrong

Prices change, timetables change, and sometimes we simply get a fact wrong. This page explains how we keep EpicKor accurate and what we do when it is not.

Reporting an error

Email hello@epickor.com with the article link, the statement you think is wrong, and your source if you have one. We check the claim against the original source — usually the Korean-language one — before changing anything.

What we change, and how you can tell

Factual errors are fixed in the article. Where the error changed what a reader would have understood or done — a wrong price, date, rule or company figure — the article says what was wrong, not just what is right now.

Routine updates (a new price, a new timetable, the latest annual results) are made in place. The article's Last updated date changes and the sources list shows when each figure was checked.

Facts we cannot confirm are labelled as such, or removed. We would rather say we could not verify something than repeat it.

Regular re-checks

We do not wait for reports. Articles that readers rely on are re-checked against their sources on a schedule, and prices are re-dated when they are confirmed again.
