About
EpicKor reads the Korean original
EpicKor (epickor.com) is an English-language guide to Korea for people planning a trip, buying Korean products, or researching Korean companies. It is published by Tripclip, a video-production company based in Korea, and edited in Seoul.
What we do differently
Many of the numbers a visitor needs — fares, prices, opening dates, legal limits, company results — are published by Korean agencies and companies in Korean only. We go to those originals (government data, operators' own timetables and price lists, corporate filings on DART, product labels) and check the English-language claims against them.
Every article lists its sources and shows a Last updated date. Prices carry the month they were checked. Where a fact rests on a single source or could not be confirmed, the article says so.
Who writes it
Articles are bylined EpicKor Editorial or EpicKor Business Editor. These are desk bylines, not individual writers. We do not use invented authors, stock headshots or credentials no one holds. Research and drafting are assisted by AI tools; every published article is checked against its sources before it goes live and again when it is refreshed.
How the site is funded
Some articles link to products on Amazon and hotels on Agoda. If you buy through those links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Links are disclosed where they appear, and they do not decide what we cover or recommend. See the privacy policy for the cookies these links set.
